Gameiro: "We want to start this competition strong"
The Frenchman has a prolific strike rate in the Europa League
Valencia CF start their UEFA Europa League campaign on Thursday, and have a four-time winner of the competition within their ranks. Kevin Gameiro has a record of 21 goals from 46 appearances in the European tournament, for an average of 0.45 goals per game.
He was alongside coach Marcelino on Wednesday for the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Celtic.

I feel good physically and mentally, at full strength. We're starting this competition with a lot of desire and excitement, we have a good game ahead against Celtic and we want to begin this competition strong.

We're a group and everyone is very keen to play these types of games. It's important to start well and to get a good result here - we all want to play in matches like this one.

I feel much better physically and mentally. I'm more confident as well; when a striker scores or provides a decisive pass, it helps you in your role within the team. I have to keep going like this and I hope that I can help the team to win games -something I've been able to do recently."
